Kundalini is the evolutionary force situated at the base of the spine. When awakened, it rises through the spine and vitalizes the chakras, bringing spiritual knowledge, mystical vision, psychic powers, and ultimately enlightenment. This is for the people who are tired in all spheres of life, who have tried their best yet did not see results. It seems like everything is out of alignment and is never going to get back on track. All these traumatic emotions can result in the awakening of kundalini.
For me it was spontaneous! I reached a state of pure bliss and became immensely happy. I had never felt this happy in my life. It felt like some divine energy was flowing through my body. In leu of being ecstatic I committed mistakes. One of the biggest mistakes I made was that I interpreted the message or the downloads wrong. All the downloads I had from my supreme being during that time were in the form of dreams or psychic visions. I wrote them down but decoding them was not easy at all. They were all a mixture of present, past and future. So, as much as I tried to rely on them I didn't know when and how they were going to turn into reality. Although all of my dreams did come true; some immediately and some after 2 or 3 days later. While some of them came true after 2 years and for some I got clarity after 3 years. I tried taking astrologer's and counsellor's help. Counsellors could barely help me because they don't really believe in metaphysical experiences like this. Atleast the one I met, didn't! However, my counsellor/therapist was helpful in clearing my head about how life works and why all my relationships were suffering. She also guided me on how important it was to eating healthy so I could stay in my highest vibration and operate from there. Talking about astrologers, they can also help to a certain extent. The caveat with them is that they all have their own interpretation of your horoscope and hence give advice from their standpoint of view. But the question is "does their perspective match with the message you received during your spiritual enlightenment process?" In my case it did and did not match! I contacted about 20 astrologers (in India and America). Some of them said, "you must go back to your husband and seek forgiveness" on the other hand some of them said "this relationship is over, give him forgiveness and gratitude, and move on." Do you see the conflict? Every talk has two subjects. It's just the matter of how you read it! My dreams/downloads were a mixture of both the perspectives. It was extremely confusing. Everything became like a puzzle and I started chasing answers to solve that puzzle. I started searching for content on kundalini activation, transformation of soul, karmic partnerships, etc. You can do all that for the sake of your personal knowledge but do not make any concrete decisions based on it. Rather seek help from Kundalini experts/Gurus. Search for them online. More than that "Trust your Intuition." You will have extra sensory perceptions. Your 6th sense gets activated and you are likely to have clairvoyance experiences. Those are your spirit guides trying to help you. Listen to them! Thats another mistake I made by ignoring the message brought by my spirit guides. They were telling me to go back to my husband but I was under the dilemma that my husband does not want me back. Now after 3 years I wish I had listened to my guides and taken a little step towards initiating a conversation with him. This was the biggest lesson I learnt - Listening to spirit guides and taking ACTION! You may ask - what happens if you don't listen to your spirit guides/ intuition/dreams? Spirit guides are messengers of GOD. This is GOD's way of helping you. You are gifted, that's your gift. If you had ever asked for help from God, God tries to help you in the form of signs and symbols or by sending messengers in the form of people or spirit guides. For example - you are craving a cookie. Somebody suddenly brings you a cookie. But if you don't take action to grab the cookie and open your mouth and eat it, how will you relish it.
Similarly, we are so distracted or blinded by our EGO, that we either refuse to take God's help or question it. When you begin to question it, it means you are seeking validation. Seeking validation leads to lack of trust within yourself and your supreme being. If there is no trust then you are not in your vibrational escrow, if you are not in the right vibrational escrow then you are not a match. If you are not a match then you are not ready to receive your blessings yet. Hence, HONOR YOUR INTUITION!! Even if it appears illogical at that time. Take action immediately because energies don't last long; they keep changing. Assist your spirit guides by allowing them to assist you. Remember there is no way beyond God's way. The only way to accept God's help/blessings is by detaching from EGO and letting LOVE seep in. For only LOVE has the power to heal! That's how I felt during my experience. An overwhelming feeling of love, grace, bliss and pure joy. Love was just pouring out of my body.
After trust and acceptance comes fear and doubt? Now that you have decided to place trust in your intuition and are ready to take action, you are most probably plagued by fear and doubt. Doubting the outcome of your action. Fear of facing your fear and bringing a change in life. Doubt and fear are low frequency energies. Fear gets smaller as you walk towards it. Do not focus on the outcome or the result of your action, rather do it as your responsibility. Transformation doesn't happen overnight. It's a process! It took me 3 years to accept and trust my intuition, get rid of my ego and become fearless. If you are reading this, I urge you guys to take action sooner, rather NOW if you can, than waiting for clarity. Clarity will come as you take action. The longer you wait, you will encounter harsher lessons, and hence cause more suffering to yourself. The whole point of having kundalini awakening is to put an end to your troubles. It's supposed to mark the end of your suffering since it reveals your darker side, your shadows lying unresolved deep within you. The key is to ACCEPT, ADMIT and TRANSFORM.
Another aspect of Spiritual enlightenment is Mukti and Bhukti. Mukti means liberation and bhukti means enjoyment or grounding. Lot of people feel elated by being liberated with this experience but don't really know how and where to manifest that energy. Since shakti is divine energy flowing through you, it must be invested into helping or healing other people or towards right avenues for substantial creativity. I made the mistake of not understanding this part. My awakening was spontaneous and caused by intense emotional experience. It was due to sheer force of emotions I was feeling at that time, evoked the energy within me. I felt lost, I had no idea what to do with the surge of divine energy. I started going to temple and conceived the idea of creating a blog and sharing my experience with people. But there is more to it. You can also use it to repair a bad relationship or start a new one. Kundalini is beautiful only if you channel this divine energy the right way. If you act in a way that is not in alignment with energy's purpose or your soul, it can go back to dormant state or have scary effects. I would recommend getting an advice from an expert yogi/practitioner or learned kundalini awakening counsellors. You can also consult with renowned psychologists.
